Open to our entrepreneurial community, join us in the commons of North Fond du Lac’s Horace Mann High School as we support students that are exploring business practices and ideas. Enter in through the high school’s main doors and you will be greeted with students ready to talk to you about their snack creations.

Nonprofits and small business owners likely do not believe they are subject to fraud, but anyone can be subjected to fraudulent activities.

Verity Financial Fraud Examiners of Northeast Wisconsin is a supporting organization for International Fraud Awareness Week (November 11-17, 2018) and is supporting businesses and other organizations in Northeast WI with a free workshop on fraud prevention.

Lunch to be provided by Envision Greater Fond du Lac.

This event, part of Startup Fond du Lac, is also held in conjunction with the Regional Innovation Network, an initiative showcasing entrepreneurial opportunities for those within the I-41 Corridor.

Open to businesses large and small, marketing professionals, entrepreneurs, and everyone in between, Grow with Google is coming to Fond du Lac through this free program put on by Imagination Network of Wisconsin, a program of Ignite Business Success and supported by Envision Greater Fond du Lac.

Learn about Google My Business, a free tool for local businesses who want to connect with customers on Google Search and Maps. Get hands-on help creating or updating your business profile or a simple website.

In this session we’ll show you how to:

  • Create or claim your Business Profile on Google
  • Manage your business info across Google Search and Maps
  • Use Google My Business to connect with potential customers
  • Create a free website using the info from your Business Profile

Dave Meyer, a Google-supported trainer, is a speaker for the Grow with Google partner program. He has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications and has presented digital marketing topics to thousands of people across the U.S. and Canada. Dave’s presentations include more than 300 webinars on topics like SEO, advertising, content marketing, and sales strategy. Dave was named 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year by the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce in Minneapolis, and has been recognized by organizations including the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC) and many others as a thought leader in marketing and communications.

Reach Customers Online with Google & Using Data to Drive Growth @ Brick House

This 2-for-1 opportunity with Google will dive deeper into reaching customers and using data after a previously successful introduction session held earlier this year! In the first part of our evening, learn how customers find your business online and how to promote your business using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Smart Campaigns in Google Ads. In this workshop we’ll discuss best practices for:

  • Advertising your business on Google
